The following are the code of conduct we expect all players to abide by. When joining this club, or booking a court as a nonmember, you confirm that you will abide by these rules.
If you wish to lodge a complaint regarding the actions of any player contrary to these rule, please contact a member of the committee. Investigation and possible sanctions are outlined in our club constitution.

Code of Conduct & Court Etiquette
> Play fairly and have fun.
> Treat the Club’s courts as you would your own property.
> Do not share passcode to the gates with anyone outside the club.
> Tennis courts should only be used for tennis. Use appropriate footwear suitable for tennis courts.
> Abide by the rules set down by the Club’s Committee in all Club or provincial events.
> Show respect to officials, coaches and team captains and accept their decisions.
> Do not bring food, chewing gum or glass bottles to the courts.
> Good manners should always be practiced. Behave with courtesy and consideration towards other players, and others on or near the courts.
> Refrain from the use of loud or bad language, inappropriate gestures and ball / racquet abuse.
> Respect opponents and always shake hands / touch racquets at the end of a match. Win with grace and lose with dignity.
> Do not enter a court when a game is in progress if it is likely to cause interference or distraction. Only do so when play has temporarily stopped.
> Never use unfair or bullying tactics to gain advantage on or off the court.
> Pick up after yourself and close the gate securely behind you when you leave.
> Report any potential breaches of this code, or misdemeanors / damage to the courts to a member of the Club’s Committee.
The above applies to everyone in and around the tennis courts. Breach of any of these rules may result in a warning, reprimand or suspension as per the Club’s Constitution.
